From: Hepatitis B assays in serum, plasma and whole blood on filter paper
Comparison of the (a) HBsAg (n = 63 samples) and (b) HBsAb (n = 39 samples) interpretation (positive, negative or equivocal) between initial patient clinical results (serum specimens) and subsequent results obtained from eluted filter papers. The eleven discrepant results in the HBsAb assay were related to very low signal in the original samples.
