The TDP3 assay facilitated detection of HPV in 100 ng, 225 ng and 325 ng sample, whereas with GP5+/6+ assay conditions a HPV was detectable (weak band) only when 225 ng sample was in the PCR. 50 cycles of PCR were used with each of the protocols.
